Construction of El Corte Inglés’ 39,000 sq m store is well advanced with foundation works already finalised. The contract for the next phase of building to create the superstructure has been awarded to FCC and work on this is due to start in July. The Puerto Venecia store will be the group’s most spectacular yet in Spain.

The fashion and leisure construction work on site is progressing well with the two storey underground car park completed and with the above ground structure for the fashion and leisure areas almost finalised.

All development work is progressing on schedule for a 2011 completion.
